How many days are in 12 weeks?

October 1, 2018.

Where did this year go?  Over the past two weeks, I have been unusually focused on the near term, and now we are into the final quarter of the year.  This is the most important quarter of the year for a variety of reasons.

The most important reason being – this is the only quarter I have any influence over at the moment.  What has happened earlier this year is gone.  Plans for next quarter, while somewhat hashed out – do not matter if I cannot power through this final quarter of the year as I anticipate.

I have firmly established 2 solid goals this quarter, and a third one is a jump ball between at least three additional goals.  I’ll need to prioritize that final ‘big 3’ goal in the next few days, and that is one of my primary goals for the week.

At some point this month, I’ll be taking a self assessment of the year to date as well.  I try to do this at least once a quarter, and the last two quarters – I did not do this formally.  I stepped out of my 2017 hard nosed plan, do, act, review cycle for my goals and efforts.  I instead created the space with time established on the calendar for the needs that wold emerge that day or week.  Not everything was planned, and with that space – the need to recreate the execution framework for this final quarterly push – has also reemerged.

I am pumped to get after it hard in the next 30 days and beyond – across all facets of my life.

Have you set aside a goal for yourself to hit between now and the end of the year?  You have 12 weeks roughly to make it happen, or if you wanted to invert the question – 12 weeks to not make it happen.

12 weeks is plenty of time to drive substantial change for yourself, to establish a new habit – perhaps even two, and to get the time in to connect in new, more meaningful ways in your life.

12 weeks is also 84 days…

What are you going to get after between now and New Years?

What are you going to attract into your life between now and New Years?

It is possible to do both…
